Event Information
Walk for Lupus Now® is a family-friendly event that raises funds to support the programs and services of the Lupus Foundation of America, Philadelphia Tristate Chapter (LFA). The Southern New Jersey Walk for Lupus Now® will take place on May 16, 2010 at the Ocean City Music Pier, Ocean City, NJ. Strollers and dogs on leashes are welcome!
Walkers are asked to check-in at 9:00 a.m.; the Walk will begin at 10:00 a.m. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing, suitable for the weather. Refreshments will be provided.
There are no fees to participate in the Walk, but a commemorative Walk for Lupus Now® T-shirt will be provided to each participant who has raised $100 or more. For teams, every $100 raise will earn you a free t-shirt.
In addition, for each $250 raised, you will be provided with a course marker sign that may display your message in honor or in memory of your loved one with lupus or it can display a company logo or photo.

Getting Started
- Register for the Walk for Lupus Now®. If you plan to organize a team, create your team first, then register yourself as a team member.
- Set a fundraising goal.
- Invite others to join your team. Walking with a team is more fun, and makes it easier to raise money.
- Raise money. Get valuable fundraising tips, and set up a personal fundraising page to spread the word among friends, family, and co-workers.
- Walk with friends, family, and team members.
- Celebrate a job well done!
